4 Steps to the Pefect Happy Day
1) Natural light! Start your day with some natural light in a sunny room or even outside. Sunlight has a wide range of health benefits that include boosting your mood, lowering stress levels, and improving cognitive abilities.
2) Fuel your body! When we eat better, our bodies function better and we feel better. Enjoying your favorite treats occasionally is also encouraged, but in moderation. Keep your healthy food interesting with herbs and spices and don’t be afraid to try new things.
3) Put the to do list down! It’s easy to get caught up in checking off al the tings on your list, but it’s so important to take breaks and do something that fills your cup back up. Move your body, have some quiet time, or read book you love.
4) Mentality is everything! Be mindful of what your internal dialogue is like throughout the day. Being intentional about maintaining a positive mindset and redirecting any negative thoughts can go a long way.
