Why sitting too long is bad…
Most of us are seated way longer throughout the day than we should be. While there may not be much that we can do to battle this age of technology that we are in, there are some things to keep in mind!
When we are seated for a long time, our hip flexors tend to get super tight, and our low back tends to get weak and more unstable.
This can result in pain in your lower back, but also puts you at risk for much bigger problems down the road if the area isn’t in a balanced state!
If this sounds anything like you, we have several tips:
Get adjusted regularly.
Stretch those hip flexors out.
Strengthen your core.
Stand up more frequently throughout the day.
That simple combo will make a world of a difference when it comes to the proper stabilization of your spine, and encouraging healthy musculoskeletal biomechanics!
