Easing Into Your Back-to-School Routine

Can you believe we are about to head into another school year?! We know the transition between the flexibility and fun in the sun of summer to the regular schedule that comes along with the school year can be tough sometimes. Here are our top back-to-school tips for keeping up with the changes.

1. Decrease screentime: With all the tech that’s involved in work and school, it may seem difficult to decrease screentime – but trust us on this one! That blue light that comes out of our devices has a bunch of side effects, so maybe reach for your favorite book right before going to bed.

2. Increase movement. How can you infuse joyful movement into your day? Maybe a quick walk, or dancing around your home, or a simple yoga routine? Movement in any form will help you get better sleep, have better focus, and release some of those good chemicals into your brain!

3. Get adjusted. Regular chiropractic adjustments lower the stress response and gets the brain back on the right channel so everyone in your family can have a  nervous system that is calm and connected
